Job Description
Client Billing & Certification
Prepare RA bills, final bills, and escalation claims as per contract BOQ
Ensure timely submission of bills to client/consultant with complete documentation
Follow up for certification and minimize deductions/disallowances
Measurement & Quantity Validation
Record joint measurements with client/consultant for all executed items
Verify actual site quantities vs drawings and BOQ
Maintain measurement books and reconciliation statements
Subcontractor Billing
Check and certify subcontractor RA bills based on approved work done
Ensure deductions for material, advances, penalties, and TDS are applied
Release bills only after quality and safety clearance
Cost Control & Budget Monitoring
Track project cost against budgeted cost and highlight variances
Monitor item rate vs actual cost for major BOQ items
Support PM in cash flow forecasting based on billing plan
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain records of all bills, measurements, correspondence, and approvals
Ensure compliance with contract terms, GST, and statutory requirements
Prepare reconciliation of client billing vs subcontractor billing vs book of accounts
Reporting & Coordination
Submit monthly billing status, WIP, and unbilled report to management
Coordinate with planning, execution, QS, and accounts teams
Flag potential claims, variations, and extra items to management
Variation & Extra Items
Identify, prepare, and submit rate analysis for extra items/deviations
Get approvals for variations before execution wherever possible
Maintain variation register and track approval status
Site management
Daily Checking and DPR
Updating & Site Program in Client format
Overall supervision of work & Manpower as per requirement
