Business Analyst

Job Description: Business Analyst / Project Coordinator / Scrum MasterPosition OverviewWe are looking for a highly organized, analytical, and communication-oriented professional who can primarily function as a Business Analyst, while also taking ownership of Project Coordination and Agile/Scrum Facilitation.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating business requirements into actionable user stories, coordinating project delivery across multiple teams, and ensuring smooth Agile execution throughout the software development lifecycle.

Role Distribution

• 70% – Business Analysis

• 10% – Scrum Master

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis – 70%

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Conduct requirement elicitation workshops, client discussions, and discovery sessions.
• Write clear and detailed User Stories, Epics, Features, and Acceptance Criteria.
• Create and maintain BRDs, FRDs, process flows, workflow diagrams, wireframes, and functional documentation wherever applicable.
• Maintain product backlogs and support requirement prioritization with stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, QA, UI/UX, and Product teams to clarify and validate business requirements.
• Ensure complete requirement traceability from initiation through final delivery.
• Prepare release documentation, meeting minutes, and other project-related documentation.
• Identify gaps, dependencies, and potential risks in business requirements and processes.

Project Management – 20%

• Plan, track, and coordinate project activities across multiple teams.
• Monitor project timelines, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and blockers.
• Coordinate with internal teams and clients to ensure timely project execution.
• Track sprint progress, project milestones, and release schedules.
• Prepare project status reports and communicate project health to relevant stakeholders.
• Support resource planning, task prioritization, and cross-functional coordination.
• Follow up with teams to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and deliverables.

Scrum Master – 10%Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including:

• Sprint Planning
• Daily Stand-ups
• Sprint Reviews
• Retrospectives
• Backlog Refinement
• Ensure Agile and Scrum best practices are followed by the team.
• Identify, track, and help remove blockers impacting sprint delivery.
• Promote collaboration, transparency, and effective communication within the team.
• Support continuous improvement through retrospectives and Agile practices.
• Help ensure the team remains aligned with sprint goals and delivery commitments.
• Required SkillsStrong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent business analysis and requirement-gathering skills.
• Expertise in writing User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Epics, and Product Backlogs.
• Hands-on experience with Jira for backlog management, sprint planning, and issue tracking.
• Hands-on experience with Confluence for documentation, knowledge management, and project collaboration.
• Good understanding of SDLC and software delivery processes.
• Ability to create process flows, workflow diagrams, and business documentation.
• Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to coordinate multiple teams and manage competing priorities.
• Preferred SkillsExperience working with software development teams.
• Basic understanding of APIs, databases, and system integrations.
• Familiarity with UI/UX concepts and wireframing tools.
• Exposure to cloud-based applications, SaaS products, and enterprise software.
• Experience working in a cross-functional and Agile development environment.
