Job Description
Job Summary:
Responsible for CNC program creation, machine setup, tooling selection, and process optimization to produce precision components as per drawings and quality requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Create and edit CNC programs for VMC/CNC machines.
- Set up machines, fixtures, tools, and work offsets.
- Interpret engineering drawings and process requirements.
- Optimize machining parameters and cycle times.
- Conduct first-piece approval and process validation.
- Troubleshoot machining and quality issues.
- Maintain tooling and setup documentation.
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
Requirements:
- ITI/Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in CNC programming and machine setup.
- Proficiency in Fanuc/Mitsubishi/Siemens controls.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of tooling, feeds & speeds, and machining processes.
