Credit Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in credit underwriting, customer verification, and risk assessment. The role involves evaluating loan applications, analyzing customer profiles, and ensuring adherence to internal credit policies and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate loan applications as per the Company's credit policies.
• Conduct customer profile and document verification to determine creditworthiness.
• Analyze financial and banking information for loan approval decisions.
• Perform risk assessment and maintain portfolio quality.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth loan processing and disbursal.
• Maintain accurate records of credit decisions and customer interactions.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and escalate potential fraud or policy deviations whenever required.

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of experience in Credit Underwriting or Credit Operations.
• Experience in the NBFC, FinTech, or lending industry is preferred.
• Experience in Payday Loans will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of credit assessment and risk evaluation processes.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
