FIELD SALES EXECUTIVE / SALES ENGINEER – INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS

A well-established industrial marketing and distribution organization serving the Power Sector and Heavy Industries across India invites applications from dynamic and result-oriented professionals for the position of Field Sales Executive.

Location & Reporting Office: Gurgaon (Gurugram)

Market Coverage: North India (Primary Focus: Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh & Rajasthan)

Product Portfolio:

Mechanical, Control & Instrumentation (C&I), Electrical and Industrial Engineering Products used in Thermal Power Plants and other Heavy Industries.

POSITION SUMMARY

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing new business, strengthening customer relationships, and generating sales from Government Utilities, PSUs and Private Industries across North India through regular customer visits and effective sales coordination.

KEY CUSTOMERS & INDUSTRIES

• UPRVUNL Thermal Power Plants and other State Power Utilities

• NTPC Stations and other Central Government Power Plants

• Large Industrial Groups including Hindalco, Lanco and similar Heavy Industries

• EPC Companies and Major Industrial Customers across North India

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Field Activities (Approx. 60%)

• Visit customers across North India to generate new business opportunities.

• Meet Purchase Managers, Procurement Teams, Maintenance Divisions, Project Engineers and Plant Heads.

• Promote company products and identify new business opportunities.

• Follow up enquiries, negotiations and customer requirements until order finalisation.

• Maintain strong customer relationships through regular visits.

Office Coordination (Approx. 40%)

• Report to the Gurgaon Office for daily sales coordination.

• Prepare quotations, techno-commercial offers and customer correspondence.

• Follow up enquiries, quotations, tenders and pending orders.

• Prepare daily visit reports and maintain customer records.

• Coordinate with customers, suppliers and internal teams for timely execution of orders.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Experience

• 2–5 years' experience in Industrial Sales, Institutional Sales, B2B Sales or Technical Marketing.

• Candidates having experience in Thermal Power Plants, Power Utilities, EPC Companies or Heavy Industries will be preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic understanding of Mechanical, C&I and Electrical products used in industrial applications.

• Working knowledge of industrial procurement procedures, vendor registration and PSU/Industrial tenders.

• Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and professional email communication.

Travel

• Extensive travelling across North India is an essential part of this position.

• Valid Driving License is mandatory.

DESIRED PROFILE

• Graduate or Diploma Holder (Engineering background will be an added advantage).

• Good communication, presentation and negotiation skills.

• Self-motivated, disciplined and customer-focused.

• Ability to work independently with strong follow-up skills.
