Fiber Splicer / Fiber Technician – Job Opening

Position: Fiber Splicer / Fiber Technician

Location: NCR Region (Greater Noida, Faridabad, Gurgaon)

Experience: 1–5 Years

Salary: As per experience and technical skills

Job Responsibilities:

• Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) splicing and jointing work.
• Fiber fault detection and troubleshooting using OTDR and Power Meter.
• New fiber route installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Fiber network maintenance and preventive checks.
• Closure, splitter, patch panel, and ODF installation and management.
• Ensure minimum downtime and quick restoration during fiber cuts.
• Coordination with NOC, field teams, and LCOs for network issues.
• Route survey and documentation of fiber infrastructure.
• Maintaining splicing reports, OTDR reports, and daily work records.
• Required Skills:Hands-on experience in fiber splicing and network maintenance.
• Knowledge of OTDR, Power Meter, Fusion Splicer, and fiber testing equipment.
• Understanding of GPON, FTTH, ILL, and enterprise connectivity.
• Ability to troubleshoot fiber-related issues independently.
• Willingness to travel and work in the field as required.
• Valid driving license will be preferred.
• Qualification:ITI / Diploma / Graduate (Technical preferred)
• Experience in ISP, Telecom, Broadband, FTTH, or Fiber Network operations.
