Senior Account Manager – Finance

• Key Responsibilities

🔹 Accounting & Financial Management

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations

• Ensure accurate bookkeeping and ledger scrutiny
• Manage accounts payable & receivable
• Monitor cash flow and working capital
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Perform bank & vendor reconciliations

• 🔹 Taxation & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations
• Oversee GSTR-1, GSTR-3B filings and GST reconciliation
• Manage Income Tax Department compliance
• Supervise TDS deduction, return filing (24Q, 26Q), and reconciliation
• Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants
• Handle notices and assessments from tax authorities
• Ensure statutory compliance under Companies Act

• 🔹 Audit & Reporting
• Lead internal and statutory audits
• Prepare audit schedules and financial reports
• Develop MIS reports for management
• Implement internal financial controls
• Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting

• 🔹 Strategic & Team Responsibilities
• Support financial planning and analysis (FP&A)
• Provide financial insights for business decisions
• Mentor junior accounting staff
• Improve accounting systems and processes

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Indian taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax)
• Expertise in financial reporting and compliance
• Proficiency in Tally / ERP systems
• Advanced Excel skills
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong attention to detail
• Leadership and team handling skills

Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com (Mandatory)
• CA / CMA (Preferred)
• 3 - 6 years of experience in Finance & Accounts
• Experience handling statutory audits & tax compliance
