Waiter

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Customer Service & Interaction: Welcoming guests, presenting menus, explaining daily specials, and answering questions about ingredients or preparation.
• Order Management: Taking food and drink orders accurately, including handling special dietary requests, and communicating them to the kitchen via POS system or verbal communication.
• Service & Delivery: Serving food and beverages, refilling drinks, and checking with guests to ensure satisfaction with their meal.
• Table Maintenance: Clearing dirty dishes, glasses, and cutlery, wiping tables, and resetting for new customers.
• Safety & Cleanliness: Following food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines, as well as maintaining a clean dining area.
• Payment Processing: Delivering checks, handling cash or credit card transactions, and providing accurate change.
• Coordination: Communicating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service and resolving any guest complaints professionally.
