Job Title: Warehouse In-Charge / Store In-Charge

Location: Gurgaon, Haryana

About the Company

We are an authorized distributor of Polycab electrical products dealing in LT & HT power cables, wires, flexible cables, and allied electrical products. We are looking for a responsible and disciplined Warehouse In-Charge to efficiently manage our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Stock Management

* Maintain accurate stock records.

* Ensure proper inward and outward entry of all materials.

* Perform regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.

* Organize the warehouse for easy identification and retrieval of materials.

* Minimize stock loss, damage, and pilferage.

Warehouse Operations

* Supervise loading and unloading of goods.

* Ensure timely dispatch of customer orders.

* Allocate and supervise daily work of warehouse labour.

* Maintain cleanliness, safety, and discipline in the warehouse.

* Coordinate with the sales, accounts, and dispatch teams.

Team Management

* Manage warehouse helpers and labour staff.

* Ensure efficient utilization of manpower.

* Monitor attendance, punctuality, and productivity of workers.

* Maintain discipline and resolve day-to-day operational issues.

Documentation & Computer Work

* Prepare dispatch documents and delivery-related paperwork.

* Maintain records using MS Excel and MS Word.

* Write and respond to basic business emails.

* Coordinate with management through WhatsApp, email, and telephone.

* Generate basic inventory and dispatch reports.

Coordination

* Coordinate with transporters for timely dispatch.

* Communicate with suppliers and internal departments whenever required.

* Report stock shortages, damaged goods, and operational issues to management immediately.

Skills Required

* Minimum 3–5 years of experience in warehouse/store management.

* Good knowledge of inventory management.

* Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and email.

* Basic English reading and writing skills.

* Ability to supervise labour and manage warehouse operations independently.

* Honest, disciplined, and responsible.

* Good communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

* Graduate or Diploma holder.

* Experience in electrical, cable, hardware, or industrial products will be preferred.

Salary: As per experience and capability.

Working Hours: Monday to Saturday (as per company timings)
