Assistant Manager - Centralized Accounting

What You’ll do 

  • Require Account Analyst for Accounting & Reconciliation to transition the activities

  • Managing Global Reconciliation processes for Amex GBT

  • Validate reports to ensure that the correct information is being passed for the processing.

  • Reconciliation and data analysis for bank reconciliation, general ledger and sub-ledger reconciliation

  • Co-ordinate with stakeholders to obtain and provide required clarifications

  • Perform Accounting controls to ensure accuracy of report

  • Provide required support during internal and statutory audit

  • Participate in related projects

  • Perform ad-hoc activities

  • Assist team leader in projects and other related works

  • Build relationships with key points of contact across the processes and other functions both within the company and externally with outsource vendors to maintain an understanding of the process context and identify both intra process and cross process improvement

What We're looking for  

  • CA qualified with minimum 2 -4 years of experience in Accounting process is preferred

  • Experience in working in a shared services environment will be an advantage

  • Understanding of USGAAP accounting entries will be preferred

  • Good problem solving skills, written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment

  • Drive ad  self motivation with the ability to work independently

  • Proven ability to form strong customer relationships, an understanding of customer focus and service delivery

  •  Proven ability to meet deadline

  • Clear and effective communication & interpersonal skills and qualities of a good team player
