Assistant Vice President - Business Excellence
SBI Card was launched in 1998 with the State Bank of India, India's largest bank, as the majority stakeholder. In March 2020, SBI Card was listed on BSE and NSE. Today, SBI Card is India’s largest pure-play credit card issuer with over 19 million cards in force, as of June 2024. Its wide array of products and services caters to a diverse range of customer segments across India, right from new-to-credit to super premium.
Role Purpose
Managing improvement projects and acting as change agents.
Role Accountability
Program/Project Management Capabilities
1. Design, Mobilization and execution of medium to large programs/projects
2. Manage and drive large no of Projects/Programs (10-12)
3. Developing, Executing, Monitoring and maintaining the program/Project management plan, integrated master schedule with timely and regular report outs
4. Managing programme communication, project discussions/meetings and outreach to program teams, Engaging with key stakeholders and subject matter experts
5. UAT tracking and reporting
6. Management of audit for the projects
7. Ensuring function is compliant as per Annual Information Security Risk Assessment done by Information Security/Risk team
8. Ensuring all the PR/PO and Finance requirements during the project life cycle are met
9. To ensure all vendor contracts are in place pertaining To Projects/ Strategic programs and events
Measures of Success
1. Successful execution and completion of Programs allocated.
2. Adherence of Project management guidelines and implementation of project methodology, governance, monitoring and Tracking.
3. Business benefit sign off
Technical Skills / Experience / Certifications
1. Experience and competency across project management knowledge areas including project planning, execution, governance, reporting, risk management etc.
2. Strong Stakeholder management skills in order to manage, communicate, and liaison effectively with stakeholders.
