Reporting will be to Manager / Associate Director / Director
We are recruiting for an Associate Director in the Financial Due Diligence team. Working as an Associate Director in this team, your responsibilities will include:
•Identification of key issues and carrying out the relevant financial analysis•To undertake smaller assignments or assist in larger assignments reporting to Partner, with their limited supervision• Preparation of good TS reports, including review of sections compiled by other team members on the job• Management of and contribution to the development of junior staff, including timely and objective feedback on every job•Establishing credibility with clients/targets as a representative of KPMG Transaction Services• Maintaining business contacts at middle/senior levels (i.e. it is our expectation that Associate Director will make a positive commitment to maintaining contact with people they meet on transactions, who may become important providers of work in the future)• To contribute to the effective working of the team and development of team morale• Ensure that risk documentation are completed for all jobs on a timely basis as per the applicable T&R technical/risk management policiesTo contribute to practice development initiative including people, team administration and solution development etc.
Educational qualifications
•MBA Finance, CFA, CPA, M. Com., Post-graduate in Finance or CA•Strong written and spoken English language skills•Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
Work experience
•The candidate must have 9 to 12 years of relevant experience in a similar role, particularly in a professional services firm / third-party KPO/ /internal research/strategy teams within key technology companiesMandatory technical & functional skills
•Strong analytical, issue identification/prioritization/ resolution and report writing skills, including understanding of key TS concepts relating to Adjusted/Quality of Earnings, Adjusted Net Working Capital and Adjusted Net Debt amongst other TS analysis• Ability to execute project plans, manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads and manage individual/team budgets.• Have the ability to work under pressure – stringent deadlines and tough client conditions which may demand extended working hours•Strong analytical, strategic and commercial experience in advising clients on engagements.•Passionate about Deal advisory with a history of learning continuously from experience and to seek out development opportunitiesProject and Team management exposure
•Prior experience in project scoping, effort estimate, project work planning, team handling, staffing, performance management etc.•Credible record of operating as an independent contributor and working as part of a team during larger projects•High problem-solving skills; ability to drive through to an outcome in circumstances of complexity and ambiguity•Goal driven – should be focused on helping clients meet their requirements – by developing answers and solutions when client requirement remains unclear / changes, and by providing reShould have experience of managing a team of 5-10 professionals.•Relevant insights and key questions to fit the client objective.Behavioral / team skills
