About the role

 

As a Cloud Engineer II, you will be responsible for the administration and management of customers’ AVD environment.. We will count on you to manage and update the AVD golden images. Along the way, you will get to:

• Manage scaling of the AVD environment.  
• Exhibit high level knowledge of networking and storage concepts that underpin the AVD environments. 
• Actively monitor and perform trend analysis on the AVD system configuration. 
• Exhibit high level knowledge and understanding of user profiles (FSLogix) solutions.  
• Administration and management of Remote Application hosted in AVD environments.  
• Perform and validate regular patching of the AVD environments.   
• Stay up to date with the latest technology updates in AVD service and Azure cloud environments. 
• Perform the user acceptance tests for customer’s AVD environment.

What we’re looking for

• University Degree in Computer Science, IT or a related area preferred.\
• 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience 

• 2+ years of experience in Azure Cloud. 

• 1+ years of Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop. 

• Experience in drafting end user documentation and SOPs following industry standards. 

• Sound knowledge and understanding of Azure Virtual Desktop Solution. 

• Exhibit willingness to learn and openness to grow.  

• Exhibit team working/player spirit.  

• Sound communication and interpersonal skills. 

• High level knowledge of ITIL process and industry best practices.  

• Relevant certifications, such as the Microsoft Certified: AZ-900, AZ-104
