What you'll build
You will interface with a highly professional, global team of experts and architects from various teams inside GCO and the development organization. With standardization and automation, our team is enabling the GCO operational units to delight our customers and deliver reliable services!
With your curiosity on IT technologies and ideally some SAP fundamentals you will be a great addition to our team. Plenty of opportunities may arise to join strategic projects over the time and grow in our team.
- Implement, configure, and support SAP Focused Run (FRUN) environments.
- Perform FRUN installation, setup, upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management.
- Configure Technical Monitoring, System Monitoring, Integration Monitoring, User Experience Monitoring, and Job Monitoring.
- Configure alert management, notification management, and automated alert suppression mechanisms.
- Onboard SAP systems into FRUN monitoring landscape including ABAP, JAVA, HANA, BW, PI/PO, S/4HANA, and cloud systems.
- Perform Diagnostics Agent installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Configure and manage SDA, Host Agent, and Introscope integrations.
- Work on FRUN MAI templates, metrics customization, dashboards, and reporting.
- Analyze monitoring gaps, performance bottlenecks, false alerts, and monitoring stability issues.
- Implement best practices for proactive monitoring and observability.
What you bring
- Affinity with IT technologies with ideally sound SAP BASIS and SAP HANA admin knowledge.
- Experience in BASIS activities
- Good Understanding of architecture and their components of SAP FRUN
- SAP Solution Manager and SAP Cloud ALM
- Candidate should have exposure to Cloud operations (e.g. AZURE, AWS, GCP, etc.) and software lifecycle automation experience.
- Practical experience in one or more scripting languages would be an added advantage.
- Preferable database skills for HANA and ASE, other database vendors welcome (MAXDB, IQ, SQL Server)
- Confident handling and experience in Linux operating system
- AI and customer first mindset
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness and experience working in international teams.
- Ideally familiar with trending technologies and tools
- Fluency in English language
- Preferred Skills
- Experience in SAP ECS/RISE environments.
- Knowledge of monitoring optimization and alert tuning.
- Experience in handling large-scale enterprise monitoring landscapes.
- Knowledge of SAP Focused Insights dashboards and reporting
