Role Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end delivery of Procurement Operations Desk services, ensuring stable, efficient, and compliant support for Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes. The role focuses on service delivery governance, stakeholder management, operational excellence, continuous improvement, and team performance across procurement support functions.
Key Responsibilities
Service Delivery & Operations Management
•Own end-to-end delivery of Procurement Operations Desk services (Requisitioning, Purchasing, Contracts, Supplier Management, Invoicing, and Payments).•Ensure SLAs, KPIs, and quality metrics are consistently met or exceeded.•Manage day-to-day operations, issue resolution, escalation handling, and service continuity.•Drive standardization, knowledge management, and adherence to defined operating procedures.Stakeholder & Client Management
•Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders and internal leadership.•Conduct regular service reviews, performance reporting, and improvement discussions.•Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and client escalations.•Team & Resource Management
•Lead, mentor, and manage procurement operations teams (L2/L3 support).•Plan capacity, workload distribution, and resource utilization.•Support onboarding, training, and knowledge transfer activities.••Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement
•Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance, and user experience.•Drive automation, digitization, and optimization initiatives within procurement operations.•Ensure compliance with procurement policies, controls, and audit requirements.
Project & Transition Management
•Manage transitions, KT, and stabilization for new procurement operations or tools.•Support continuous improvement projects, tool enhancements, and transformation initiatives.Coordinate with IT, transformation, and functional teams during changes or rollouts
This role is for you if you have the below
Required Skills & Experience
Experience
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience•8–15+ years of experience in Procurement Operations, Shared Services, or Managed Services.•Proven experience managing procurement support desks or operational teams.•Hands-on experience with Source-to-Pay processes and service delivery models.
Functional & Technical Skills
•Strong understanding of procurement lifecycle and operations (P2P / S2P).•Experience with procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, or similar tools.•Strong reporting, SLA management, and governance experience.
