Job Description

Marketing Effectiveness Innovation Incubator Consultant

Job Description

The Innovation Incubator Consultant plays a client-facing role at the intersection of commercial opportunity and analytic innovation within NIQ’s Marketing Effectiveness Incubator. This includes managing stakeholders and delivering insights, recommendations, and tools related to Incubator marketing effectiveness solutions to our clients.

Partnering closely with the entire Incubation Lab team, you will be accountable for overseeing the entire life-cycle of a project from client sign-off through to delivery including synchronization of required internal resources, conducting analysis of results, creating deliverable materials, and presenting to clients. This role is responsible for shaping what we build, not just delivering what already exists—combining strong marketing science judgment with consultative storytelling and commercial acumen. Your insights will influence decisions for some of today’s leading global brands that cover social, digital, and traditional media activities.

This is primarily a delivery consultation role that requires creativity and strong analytical acumen given the next-gen nature of Incubator projects. Once engagements are approved, you will act as a consultative steward, ensuring insights, recommendations, and outputs remain true to the original ambition and client outcomes.

You will work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where problems are not always pre-defined, solutions are emerging, and success depends on balancing client ambition with analytic rigor and delivery realism.

Responsibilities

  • Execute, present, and implement analytic insights related to Incubator offerings to meet clients’ research objectives.

  • Ensure proactive insights and action-oriented solutions are delivered to our clients by being an expert in data/insight storytelling, with an ability to simply explain methodologies behind all key analytical solutions to the client.

  • Manage project resources, timelines, and priorities both internally and externally, sometimes consisting of moving targets and conflicting deadlines.

  • Coordinate project execution between team of experts, including advertisers, publishers, media agencies, and/or global NIQ teams.

  • Offer expertise and feedback on Incubator roadmap.

  • Ability to support proposal development, as needed, by defining objectives, methodology, data requirements, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria.

  • Provide consultative guidance throughout project execution, ensuring that analytical outputs align to the original client brief, insights are translated into actionable, business-relevant recommendations, and deliverables meet senior-stakeholder expectations for clarity, rigor, and relevance.

  • Communicate complex methodologies and results clearly to non-technical client stakeholders through written deliverables and presentations.

  • Maintain trusted advisor relationships with key client contacts throughout the engagement lifecycle.

  • Surface repeatable patterns and feedback from Incubator projects that should feed into the broader product roadmap.

  • Stay current on advancements in marketing science, machine learning, AI, and emerging digital platforms, and identify how they might inform new client offerings.

  • Actively contribute to NIQ’s reputation for next-generation marketing effectiveness thinking through internal knowledge sharing and client storytelling.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in marketing, business, statistics, economics, analytics, or related field.

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in marketing analytics, media effectiveness, consulting, or solution design within Marketing Effectiveness, Market Research, CPG, or related industries.

  • Strong working knowledge of Marketing Mix Modeling, attribution, and experimental approaches such as Matched Market Testing.

  • Familiarity with statistical and data science methodologies sufficient to engage substantively with Data Scientists on feasibility and approach.

  • Strong logic, deductive reasoning, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

  • Skilled and polished communicator, including group presentations, consultative storytelling, and executive communication skills.

  • Robust project management skills.

  • Demonstrated mastery in data analysis & application to client business issues, including recommending custom solutions to address client business objectives and deliver client value from the engagement.

  • Demonstrated strength in maintaining positive client relationships in complex situations and resolving client issues with the ability to interface with client executives.

  • Experience working in cross-functional teams across commercial, analytics, and product functions and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong sense of urgency and accountability to drive client outcomes.

  • Comfort operating in fast-paced, undefined environments where solutions, processes, and products are still evolving.

  • Consistently drives best practices, process improvements, and thought leadership to advance the business.

  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning applications in marketing analytics is a strong plus.

  • Fluent English required; professional working proficiency in Spanish desirable.

  • This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports.
