What this job involves:

 

We are seeking an experienced graphic designer to support our Property Management and Public Institution teams in pursuit of sales opportunities. In this role, the Designer will directly impact revenue opportunities for a Fortune 200 company via design work on regional and global sales pursuits.

This role will maintain close, day-to-day communication with the business teams to ensure creative alignment on projects, timelines, and adherence to best practices.

 

The Designer will be required to design and develop materials to support our sales teams, creating visual communications to convey messages in an effective and aesthetically pleasing manner. This incorporates several tasks and responsibilities. Emphasis will be on designing materials needed across the sales cycle, including assets such as client presentations, RFP responses, graphics, and reports in both customized branding and JLL-brand.

 

The Designer must seek to understand the strategy, audience and objectives behind complex design projects so they can provide appropriate solutions with minimal art direction. He/she must be comfortable working with a variety of team contributors, including sellers, and various levels of management.  Graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message. For this role, one is required to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design. Job Responsibilities

 

As a member of a sales pursuit team:

 

• On each project, be a willing, proactive communicator who gathers all relevant facts, seeks to understand the message that needs to be communicated, and ensure all deliverables communicate the correct information. Be able to translate information from stakeholders into designs that are visually enticing, easy to understand, and emotionally impactful.
• Effectively collaborate across time zones and cultures with cross-functional team members, including sellers, sales enablement, proposal managers, and solution managers
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure work is delivered to expectations and deadlines, working collaboratively with other Designers on the project to ensure a consistent, integrated creative strategy.

As a member of our design team:

• Stay on top of the latest standards, processes, and trends in the visual design field.
• Be willing and able to work independently and under deadline pressure on several projects simultaneously, while ensuring quality and timely delivery.

• Create and maintain high-quality visual content for the company brand in both digital and print communications and other collaterals, with very high attention to details

• Have a superior understanding of the fundamental concepts of graphic design principles, with the ability to generate clear ideas, concepts, and designs of creative assets from beginning to end.
• Be able to receive, interpret, and implement constructive feedback from project stakeholders into your design work.
• Have a team-oriented attitude and the ability to contribute to design- and functionality-related research report design decisions
• Have a strong work ethic: Takes initiative and can self-manage. Resourceful when approaching projects, can navigate through obstacles to bring projects to fruition, and can effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  
  

Key skills and experience

• A high level of proficiency using Adobe Suite, including InDesign Interactive, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint and Word. Knowledge of video creation/animations using After Effects is a plus.

Education/training

• BS/MS degree, visual communications, Graphic Design, Art school
  
  

Years of relevant experience

• 5-6 years of experience
• Experience of working in a Marketing/Communications agency set up
  
  

Skills and knowledge

• A high level of proficiency using Adobe Suite including InDesign Interactive, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
After Effects is a plus.
• Ideal candidate will be adaptable to new tools as per business requirement
  
  

Communication skills

• Ability to effectively communicate concepts and ideas to others through written, drawn and verbal means.
• Prior experience of work with global and international clients is preferred.

Time management

• Detail-oriented, organized, with problem solving approach and should be able to manage multiple projects and simultaneously while maintaining accuracy

Team player

• Must be a self-starter, but also a team player with the ability to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced, matrix and customer service-oriented environment
• Must be able to build strong relationships with clients/stakeholders within the wider JLL business
