About the role

The Services Delivery function is responsible for delivering professional and managed services to our clients across a full range of technology and sof tware offerings, delivering a scaled, consistent client experience and methodology through four centres of excellence (COE). The Service Design & Delivery team take the lead on designing client solutions in partnership with our clients before planning and executing the end-to-end engagement. The Engineering team provide innovative migration and implementation activities both automated and scripted, to achieve maximum efficiency, consistency, and performance. The Customer Operations team provide high-quality customer support across the region f rom multiple delivery centres. The Licence Consulting team provide expertise in optimisation and compliance services to clients on-premise or in the cloud, maintaining cost ef ficiency and savings. Complementing our COE’s are the Service Delivery Management team. 

 

As a SLS Consultant you will:

• Own and drive the completion of operational implementation of SAM tooling, including but not limited to data preparation and configuration in the tooling, core enablement for clients (where in scope).
• Delivers a variety of licensing analyses and reconciliations independently, using the population of SLS Analysts to perform data gathering, preparation and analysis.
• Responsible for ensuring the quality assurance of SLS Analyst’s work.
• Responsible for coordinating multiple concurrent tasks for own work and SLS Analysts in an ef ficient manner including tracking progress against deadlines and expected effort, as well as addressing issues such as anomalies and conflicts.

 

What we’re looking for:

• Education:  
  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in a related field (e.g. IT, Business or Finance) and can demonstrate equivalent work experience. 

• Qualifications:  
  • Working knowledge of IT asset management including license reconciliation processes.
  • Deliver analyses and observations that can support improved ef ficiency in client and Insight operations including producing regular reporting and strategic reviews or planning workshops, whether delivered by SLS or LCS teammates
  • Provide second line subject matter assistance to clients via the service desk where escalated by SLS Analysts.
  • Use of , and ongoing contribution to, the LCS knowledge base and process libraries. This includes a review of new contributions f rom SLS and LCS teammates

• • Proficiency with an ITAM/SAM tool (e.g., ServiceNow, Flexera, USU). 
  • Knowledge of licensing models for one or two tier 1 vendors (Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, SAP, Salesforce) or multiple tier 2 vendors. 

 

• Certifications: 
  • ITAM Tool certification (e.g. Flexera, ServiceNow, USU); IAITAM certifications (CSAM or CITAM) or ITAMOrg certifications (ITAMF, SAMS, HAMS), ITIL Foundation, FinOps Practitioner, vendor specific licensing or cloud certifications.  

• Technical skills: 
  • Working knowledge of a SAM tool (Flexera, SNOW or Aspera, ELD) 
    Experience of IT tools (e.g. Microsoft SCCM, ServiceNow or SQL scripting)  
  • Fully conversant with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word) 
  • Intermediate AI prompting skills.
