Specialist (RFP & MSA Documents- Sourcing, Procurement & Review)

About this role:

Gartner is searching for a Specialist, RFP and MSA review to join our Tech Purchasing India COE. The Specialist will be responsible for leveraging Gartner’s Published Research to analyse client’s Request for Proposal (RFP) and Master Services Agreements (MSA) and help clients identify critical variances in their document.

What you’ll do:

  • Use Gartner’s Published Research to review client’s RFP and MSA documents (IT Services) and share observations via a standardized written response with the clients

  • Help clients identify critical variances and missing terms in their documents (RFP & MSA) using Gartner’s recommended best practices

  • Document recommendations that the client could action to make their RFP & MSA more effective

  • Perform quality assurance testing of completed work

  • Ensure that all SLAs and TATs are met and are fully supported across all varied requests

  • Support periodic reporting and analysis on key performance and continuously provide improvement opportunities

What you’ll need:

We are looking for creative, articulate and self-motivated individuals who would like to work in a process-driven, team-based environment. Our search for talent is centred, without exception, on the ability to be organized, pay strong attention to detail, and work autonomously (i.e., high degree of self-reliance/self-starter). Some of the shared characteristics of our successful hires include:

  • Total 3-4 years of prior experience in reviewing RFPs, Master Services Agreements preferably IT Services

  • Adaptability to fast paced environment and changing business requirements while effectively prioritizing based on value of business to Gartner

  • Ability to effectively process directly client facing inquiries and variety of internal incoming requests by multi-tasking

  • Experience handling multiple priority activities/projects at once within allotted SLA

  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, incorporating requirements, action plan and timeline when communicating external clients and internal stakeholders

  • Strong interpersonal, relationship building, and time management skills

Who you are:

  • Graduate with 3-4 years of experience

  • Strong appetite to dive deep into a given content terrain to develop expertise and distil key findings

  • Ability to gather, analyse, restructure, identify and create original insights from qualitative and/or quantitative data

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with particular attention to precision of language and ability to organize information logically
