 Responsibilities Job 

 

The position is responsible for driving exponential business growth through focussed strategies and a high performing agile sales team to deliver sustainable RE & Brand share growth.

 

The role is a people leader role reporting into the Branch Manager (who in turn reports into the EVP- Sales) overseeing a team of Area Sales Managers (direct reports) and Sales Executives, Sr Executives and Area Executives  (skip reports). The role works very closely with Retail Marketing, Direct Trade, Ecommerce, Consumer Marketing, Logistics, Finance and HR teams to drive business within their region.

 

This will include, 

  • Define and drive State Strategic roadmap and JTBD (‘Job to be done’) for the region

  • Own and drive the P&L- Act like a business leader in the region by driving RoI for every activity and spend, while also working towards increasing ASP and premiumization

  • Adopt a shopper centric mindset and drive in-store excellence in collaboration with other teams like Retail Marketing. Develop and implement programs to enhance shopper interaction with our brands/ messaging in-store.

  •  Build Omni Channel & Analytics Capabilities through, 

  • Individual & Team Capability Building 

  • Process Enhancements 

  • Challenge and guide cross functional teams to deliver what is needed for the region to succeed

  • Strengthening our GTM/ distribution effectiveness and efficiency and ensuring the health of the distribution system

  • Lead large teams of area sales managers and sales executives;; Build high performing teams to execute the business strategy; Elevate quality of talent over time through coaching. Create a culture that champions diversity and promotes inclusion as one of the key enablers to achieving CP’s strategic ambitions

Education 

MBA degree preferred

Requirements

  • 9+ years of commercial experience

  • Experience across channels and geos

  • Good to have- Experiences in Modern Trade/ Ecommerce/ Retail (Trade or Shopper) Marketing, Consumer Marketing
