About the role

 

As a Staff AI Engineer, you will be the technical cornerstone of our offshore AI practice. You will go beyond individual project delivery to architect the foundational frameworks that power our AI initiatives. You will lead the design and implementation of sophisticated, agentic AI systems and robust data pipelines, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and production-ready. Your mission is to bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI research and enterprise-grade reliability, serving as a mentor to senior engineers and a strategic partner to leadership Along the way, you will get to:

• Advanced RAG & Search: Architect sophisticated Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines. This includes implementing advanced chunking strategies, hybrid search (vector + keyword), and reranking mechanisms using Vertex AI Vector Search and BigQuery.
• CCAI & Conversational Systems: Act as the lead authority for Contact Center AI (CCAI) ecosystems. Oversee complex migrations (e.g., Dialogflow ES to CX) and integrate AI agents with CCaaS platforms like UJET
• Data Engineering for AI: Design end-to-end data solutions for unstructured data ingestion. Build robust ETL/ELT pipelines in BigQuery and Apache Beam to support model training, fine-tuning, and real-time inference
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical mentorship to Senior (L4) engineers, conduct deep-dive code/architecture reviews, and establish organizational standards for AI observability and MLOps
• Strategic Pre-Sales: Partner with onshore architects to lead technical workshops, craft compelling proposals, and demonstrate the business value of complex AI/ML strategies to executive stakeholders.

What we’re looking for

• Experience: 7+ years in IT, with a proven track record of architecting and deploying enterprise-grade AI/ML solutions. You should have a history of leading the technical delivery of complex, multi-component systems.
• Generative AI & Agentic Systems: 2+ years of production-grade GenAI experience. Expertise in building multi-agent systems using Google Agent Development Kit (ADK) and orchestration frameworks like LangGraph or LangChain. You must be able to design autonomous agents that handle complex reasoning (ReAct, Chain-of-Thought).
• Advanced RAG & Search: Deep expertise in architecting Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines. This includes designing advanced chunking strategies, hybrid search (vector + keyword), and reranking mechanisms using Vertex AI Vector Search and BigQuery.
• CCAI Expertise: Specialized experience in Google Contact Center AI (CCAI). You should understand the full ecosystem, from Dialogflow CX flows to integration with CCaaS platforms (e.g., UJET) and Agent Assist implementations.
• Data Engineering for AI: Design and implement robust data pipelines for unstructured data ingestion, transformation, and validation to support LLM fine-tuning and real-time inference.
• GCP Mastery: Expert-level hands-on experience with the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) stack: Vertex AI (Search, Conversation, Model Garden), Cloud Functions/Cloud Run, and GKE.
• Technical Leadership: Proven ability to provide technical mentorship to Senior (L4) engineers, conduct architectural reviews, and define best practices for AI safety, observability, and MLOps.
• Communication: Exceptional ability to articulate complex AI/ML architectures to both technical teams and executive stakeholders, acting as a bridge between business requirements and technical execution.
