Branch Head

We are hiring for a Branch Head for a growing courier and logistics client to manage their Guwahati branch and take the lead in building their client base & growth revenue (B2B & B2C logistics sales).

Location: Guwahati, Assam

Industry: Courier & Logistics

Experience Required: Minimum 5 years in the Courier/Logistics industry

Key Responsibilities:

• Must manage Branch Operations.
• Must drive sales growth, develop client relationships, and expand market presence in the courier and logistics sector in Northeast Region.
• The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in B2C & B2B sales within the courier industry and possess a strong understanding of logistics solutions.
• Business Development – Identify and approach new business prospects across sectors such as retail, e-commerce, manufacturing, and distribution.
• Client Acquisition & Retention – Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients by understanding their needs and providing appropriate courier and logistics solutions.
• Sales Target Achievement – Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through strategic planning and effective execution.
• Territory Management – Manage sales operations in Guwahati and surrounding areas, including cold calling, lead generation, and field visits.
• Proposal & Quotation Management – Prepare and present customized pricing proposals and negotiate contract terms with clients.
• Market Intelligence – Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market developments to support sales strategy.
• Reporting – Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and customer interactions through CRM tools or Excel reports.

Qualification & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Strong knowledge of courier services, freight rates, and delivery processes
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Good geographical knowledge Northeast Region & Self-driven, target-oriented, and a team player
