Job Description – Senior Logistics ExecutivePosition Title:Senior Logistics Executive

Location: GUWAHATI

• Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, coordinate, and monitor daily logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.
• Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of products to customers and distributors.
• Coordinate with transport vendors, courier partners, and warehouse teams for smooth operations.
• Track shipments and proactively resolve delivery issues or delays.
• Prepare logistics reports, dispatch records, and shipment documentation.
• Monitor freight costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, transportation regulations, and safety standards.
• Manage inventory movement and maintain accurate stock records.
• Collaborate with procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
• Handle customer and vendor communication regarding shipment status and logistics concerns.
• Evaluate logistics performance metrics and recommend process improvements.
• Train and guide junior logistics staff when required. 

Required Qualifications

2-5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or warehouse operations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and logistics reporting tools.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

• Preferred SkillsExperience in FMCG, Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare, Manufacturing, or Distribution industries.
