• Lead the mechanical maintenance and operations team to ensure uninterrupted functioning of thermal power generation systems.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for mechanical equipment, minimizing downtime and enhancing efficiency.
• Oversee the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems and components in alignment with project timelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize mechanical processes and integrate advanced technologies for improved performance.
• Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols in all mechanical operations.
• Manage vendor relationships and procurement of mechanical components, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
• Support the Head - Mechanical in strategic planning and execution of mechanical projects aligned with the business unit’s goals.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance mechanical system reliability and efficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 10-12 years of experience in mechanical operations and maintenance within the thermal power sector.

Proven expertise in managing large-scale mechanical systems and equipment in power generation projects
