Job Description
The Solar Sales Telecaller Executive is responsible for generating leads, engaging potential customers, and promoting solar energy solutions through outbound and inbound calls. The role involves educating customers about solar products, qualifying prospects, and supporting the sales team in converting leads into business.
- Key Responsibilities:Make outbound calls to potential customers from provided databases/leads.
- Explain solar products, services, and benefits (cost savings, government subsidies, ROI, etc.).
- Generate and qualify leads for rooftop solar installations and other solar solutions.
- Schedule site visits or meetings for the field sales team.
- Handle inbound customer inquiries and provide accurate information.
- Maintain proper records of calls, follow-ups, and customer interactions in CRM or tracking sheets.
- Follow up regularly with interested prospects to close sales opportunities.
- Meet daily/weekly/monthly calling and lead generation targets.
- Stay updated on solar industry trends, schemes (like PM Suryaghar), and pricing.
- Coordinate with internal teams (sales, technical, operations) for smooth customer onboarding.
- Key Requirements:Education: Minimum Graduate (preferably in Commerce, Business, or related field).
- Experience: 0–3 years in telecalling, telesales, or inside sales (solar/energy sector preferred).
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication in Hindi, English, and/or regional language.
- Sales Skills: Persuasive ability with a customer-focused approach.
- Technical Understanding: Basic knowledge of solar systems (training can be provided).
- Computer Skills: Familiarity with MS Excel, CRM tools, and calling software.
- Personality Traits: Confident, proactive, target-driven, and disciplined.
- Performance Metrics (KPIs):Number of calls made per day
- Leads generated and qualified
- Conversion ratio (lead to site visit/sale)
- Follow-up effectiveness
- Customer satisfaction/response quality
