Warehouse Supervisor

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to manage day-to-day warehouse operations at our Guwahati facility. The role requires strong people management, operational discipline, and a deep understanding of inventory control and pharmaceutical warehouse compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of warehouse executives to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Allocate work, monitor attendance, and manage shift-wise manpower planning.
• Train new joiners on SOPs, safety guidelines, and pharma handling standards; provide ongoing coaching to existing staff.
• Monitor individual and team performance and conduct regular performance evaluations.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, hygiene, and pharmaceutical compliance standards.
• Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts and stock audits, and investigate discrepancies.
• Oversee inward and outward movement of goods, including GRN processing and dispatch accuracy.
• Ensure proper racking, storage, and segregation based on batch, expiry, and product category.
• Coordinate with logistics, supply chain, and central teams to ensure timely dispatch and issue resolution.
• Identify process gaps and implement improvements to enhance productivity, accuracy, and cost efficiency.
• Handle operational issues, employee grievances, and team conflicts professionally.
• Prepare and share daily and weekly reports on manpower, inventory, dispatch TAT, and key warehouse metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
• Strong understanding of warehouse processes, inventory management, and compliance-driven operations.
• Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to manage large shop-floor teams in rotational shifts.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and execution mindset.
• Prior experience in pharma or e-commerce warehouse operations will be an added advantage.
