Zed Facilitator (QCI)

A ZED Facilitator is basically a helper who guides small businesses (MSMEs) to get their ZED certificate.

Think of it like this: the government has a certificate (ZED — Zero Defect Zero Effect) that says "this small factory/business makes good-quality products without harming the environment." Getting that certificate involves online registration, filling forms, uploading photos and documents, and following some steps. Many small business owners don't know how to do this or don't have the time. That's where you come in.

As a facilitator, your job is to:

• Find small businesses who want the certificate and explain the benefits to them (subsidies, government recognition, easier loans).
• Help them register on the ZED portal — take the pledge, fill their details, get their Udyam number linked.
• Collect and upload evidence — like photos of their workplace, safety equipment, quality checks — as proof for the certificate.
• Guide them through the steps until they successfully get their Bronze certificate (the first, free level).
• Sort out problems — like when a login isn't working or a document gets rejected.

In one line: you are the "middleman guide" who holds the small business owner's hand and walks them through the whole ZED process so they don't get stuck.
