# Job Title: Production & Inventory Control Executive

## Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production & Inventory Control Executive to manage production data, inventory records, stores operations, and management reporting for our steel manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, excellent knowledge of inventory management, and the ability to coordinate effectively between production, stores, purchase, dispatch, and accounts departments.

The role is critical in ensuring accurate production tracking, inventory control, material planning, and timely MIS reporting to management.

## Key Responsibilities

### Production Management & Reporting

* Record and maintain daily production data accurately.

* Track production of various steel grades and product categories including round bars, flat bars, square bars, and other rolled products.

* Monitor raw material consumption and finished goods generation.

* Maintain production-wise and grade-wise yield records.

* Prepare Daily Production Reports (DPR), Weekly MIS, and Monthly MIS reports.

* Analyze production efficiency, yield losses, recovery percentages, and wastage.

* Generate management reports on production performance and operational metrics.

### Inventory & Stores Management

* Maintain accurate records of raw materials, work-in-progress, finished goods, consumables, and scrap inventory.

* Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials.

* Conduct regular stock verification and reconciliation.

* Track inward and outward movement of materials.

* Maintain batch-wise, heat-wise, grade-wise, and size-wise inventory records.

* Ensure proper documentation of material receipts, issues, and transfers.

### Purchase Coordination

* Monitor inventory requirements and raise purchase requisitions.

* Coordinate with the purchase department for procurement of raw materials, consumables, spares, and other operational requirements.

* Follow up on pending purchase orders and material deliveries.

* Maintain records of purchase requirements and material availability.

### MIS & Data Analysis

* Prepare comprehensive factory MIS reports for management review.

* Analyze production, inventory, dispatch, and procurement data.

* Develop and maintain Excel-based dashboards and reports.

* Identify operational inefficiencies and provide data-driven insights.

* Support management in production planning and decision-making through accurate reporting.

### Coordination & Compliance

* Ensure timely and accurate entry of operational data into ERP/Tally/Excel systems.

* Ensure timely and accurate reporting of MIS

* Maintain documentation and records required for internal controls and audits.

* Assist management in process improvement initiatives.

## Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

* 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in steel, metals, or process industries.

* Strong understanding of inventory management and production processes.

* Proficiency in MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, and MIS reporting.

* Working knowledge of Tally, ERP systems, or inventory management software.

* Ability to handle large volumes of operational data with accuracy.
