Field Service Technician - Water Treatment Systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, commission, and test water and wastewater treatment systems, including SBPL’s Proprietary Electrochemical treatment system, RO plants, filtration systems, dosing systems, and associated equipment.
• Perform electrical wiring, panel connections, motor and pump installations as per standard operating procedures.
• Execute plumbing work, including pipe fitting, valve installation, pump connections, and system integration. Service & Maintenance
• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of water treatment systems at customer sites.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical, mechanical, and plumbing-related faults.
• Ensure optimal performance and efficiency of installed systems.
• Replace defective components and perform necessary repairs in a timely manner. Customer Support
• Interact with customers professionally during installation and service visits.
• Provide basic operational training to customers on system usage and maintenance.
• Address customer complaints and service requests effectively.
• Maintain service reports, installation records, and maintenance logs.
• Submit daily travel and service reports to the reporting manager.
• Ensure compliance with company quality, safety, and reporting standards. Travel & Site Support
• Travel extensively across India to attend installation, commissioning, and service assignments.
• Be available for emergency breakdown calls and urgent customer requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams for spare parts, technical support, and project execution. 

Skill & Knowledge:

• Knowledge of electrical wiring, motors, pumps, control panels, and troubleshooting.
• Basic plumbing skills including pipe fitting, valve installation, and leak rectification (candidate must be willing to learn these skills).
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
• Understanding of water treatment processes will be an added advantage. Personal Attributes

• Ability to work independently at remote customer locations.
• Physically fit and comfortable working at industrial and commercial sites.
