Job Description

Job Title: Accountant (Full-Time)

Location: OU Colony, Shaikpet, Hyderabad

Employment Type: Full-Time

Department: Finance & Accounts

Reports To: Finance Manager / Business Owner


Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and trustworthy Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations, ensure statutory compliance, and support business growth. The candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial discipline across retail, distribution, and franchise operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain books of accounts and ensure accurate financial records
  • Handle daily accounting entries, ledgers, and reconciliations
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, P&L statements, and cash flow reports
  • Process invoices, vendor payments, and expense tracking
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash transactions
  • Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and Income Tax regulations
  • Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory filings
  • Coordinate with CA/auditors for audits and financial reviews
  • Monitor stock-related financial entries (important for retail/F&B business)
  • Assist in budgeting, cost control, and financial planning


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com preferred)
  • 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic tax compliance
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally preferred)
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel


Skills & Competencies:

  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple financial tasks efficiently
  • Honest, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality
  • Good communication skills


Preferred Qualifications:

  • CA Inter / CMA / MBA (Finance) (added advantage)
  • Experience in retail, food business, or franchise accounting
  • Familiarity with inventory accounting and stock reconciliation
