Job SummaryThe Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, espresso-based beverages, teas, shakes, smoothies, and other specialty drinks while delivering excellent customer service. The role includes maintaining beverage quality, equipment, cleanliness, inventory, and ensuring every guest has an exceptional café experience.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare espresso-based beverages such as Espresso, Americano, Cappuccino, Latte, Flat White, Mocha, and Macchiato.
• Prepare manual brews (V60, French Press, AeroPress, Chemex, Pour Over) as per company standards.
• Prepare cold beverages including Cold Brew, Nitro Coffee, Frappes, Iced Coffees, Milkshakes, Mocktails, and Smoothies.
• Ensure consistency in beverage taste, temperature, and presentation.
• Perform daily grinder calibration and espresso extraction adjustments.
• Steam and texture milk for latte art.
• Maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other café equipment.
• Monitor coffee bean freshness and maintain proper storage.
• Follow standardized recipes and portion sizes.
• Handle customer orders professionally and recommend menu items.
• Maintain cleanliness of the coffee station and dining beverage area.
• Follow FIFO/FEFO methods for ingredient storage.
• Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups, and other consumables.
• Report equipment issues immediately.
• Support promotional beverages and seasonal menu launches.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and company SOPs.
• Required SkillsStrong knowledge of coffee beans, roasting levels, and brewing methods.
• Experience in espresso machine operation and grinder calibration.
• Latte art skills.
• Knowledge of specialty coffee preparation.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask during peak hours.
