Business Development Manager – Brand Outreach & Growth
Job Profile
We are looking for a high-performing Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive customer acquisition, brand visibility, and revenue growth for ServeFar, an NRI-focused property management company. The role requires a strong balance of on-ground business development, strategic planning, relationship management, and cross-functional coordination, aligned with the company’s goals and long-term vision.
The ideal candidate will proactively build ServeFar’s presence across gated communities, corporates, and real estate ecosystems, while implementing innovative strategies to attract NRI and HNI property owners.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Business Strategy & Planning
- Design and implement a strategic business development plan to expand ServeFar’s customer base and strengthen its brand presence.
- Translate company objectives into clear acquisition and outreach strategies, with a focus on NRIs and premium residential segments.
- Identify growth opportunities and propose new initiatives for market penetration.
2. Brand Awareness & Community Engagement
- Drive brand awareness initiatives by actively engaging with:
- Gated communities
- Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs)
- Facility managers and association members
- Plan and execute on-ground promotional activities, including awareness sessions, property clinics, stalls, and society events.
- Act as ServeFar’s brand ambassador during all field interactions.
3. Networking & Partnerships
- Build and maintain strong networks with:
- Corporates
- Real estate builders and developers
- Facility management companies
- Channel partners and influencers
- Work out collaborative strategies with partners to acquire new customers and referral leads.
- Leverage relationships to create long-term business opportunities.
4. Customer Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding client needs and pain points.
- Generate referrals from satisfied customers and community stakeholders.
- Focus on acquiring NRI and HNI customers, especially owners of premium residential properties.
5. Sales Performance & Reporting
- Achieve business and revenue targets set by top management.
- Prepare and present:
- Sales and revenue reports
- Expense tracking
- Realistic forecasts and pipeline status
- Monitor performance metrics and continuously improve conversion effectiveness.
6. Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis
- Identify emerging markets, customer trends, and market shifts.
- Stay updated on:
- Competitor offerings
- New services and pricing models
- Industry developments affecting NRIs and property owners
- Provide actionable insights to management for strategic decisions.
7. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with the Digital Marketing team to:
- Develop targeted campaigns
- Improve brand visibility
- Generate qualified enquiries
- Work closely with Operations and Property Managers to ensure seamless onboarding and high customer satisfaction.
- Act as a bridge between customers and internal teams to ensure service excellence.
Requirements & Qualifications
Educational Qualification
- MBA (Marketing / Sales / Business Development preferred)
Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in the real estate industry, preferably with a reputed builder, developer, or real estate services firm.
- Prior experience in acquiring NRI or HNI customers will be a strong added advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong business development and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Result-oriented, proactive, and a go-getter mindset
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Comfortable with field work, presentations, and relationship-driven selling
