Job Description
- CCTV Operator – Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor CCTV cameras continuously and ensure proper surveillance of the premises.
- Monitor security cameras, access points, parking areas, entry/exit gates, and critical locations.
- Identify and report suspicious activities, security incidents, or unauthorized access.
- Maintain CCTV systems, including cameras, DVR/NVR, monitors, and recording systems.
- Perform basic troubleshooting for camera, display, recording, and connectivity issues.
- Coordinate with security and facility teams during incidents or emergencies.
- Maintain CCTV logs, incident reports, and daily monitoring records.
- Ensure CCTV recordings are properly stored and available when required.
- Coordinate with IT/AMC vendors for major technical issues and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure the CCTV system remains operational 24/7.
- BMS Operator – Roles & Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor the Building Management System (BMS) for building operations and equipment status.
- Monitor HVAC, electrical systems, DG, UPS, fire alarm systems, pumps, and other connected equipment through BMS.
- Identify alarms, abnormalities, and equipment failures and report them to the concerned team.
- Take necessary first-level actions as per standard operating procedures.
- Maintain daily BMS logs, equipment status reports, alarm records, and incident reports.
- Coordinate with HVAC, electrical, fire & safety, and facility teams for resolving issues.
- Monitor temperature, humidity, equipment parameters, and energy consumption where applicable.
- Escalate critical alarms and breakdowns immediately to the Facility Manager/Engineer.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with BMS vendors for troubleshooting, system maintenance, and upgrades.
- Ensure BMS systems, sensors, controllers, and communication networks are functioning properly.
- Networking & IT Support Responsibilities
- Understand basic networking concepts such as LAN, IP address, switches, routers, and connectivity.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of network connectivity issues related to CCTV and BMS systems.
- Provide basic desktop and user support for facility/site staff.
- Assist with the installation and maintenance of IT infrastructure at construction sites.
- Coordinate with IT teams/vendors for network, hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Maintain records of IT assets, CCTV equipment, BMS equipment, and related infrastructure.
