Import Executive

An Import Executive is responsible for managing the complete import process, ensuring the timely and efficient movement of goods from international suppliers to the company's warehouse or production facility. They coordinate with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines, and transport providers to ensure shipments are delivered on schedule and in compliance with import regulations.

Key responsibilities

preparing and verifying import documentation and customs clearance documents.

They monitor shipment status, coordinate customs clearance, calculate import duties and taxes where applicable, and ensure compliance with customs laws, trade regulations, and company policies.

Maintains accurate shipments & Contracts records, follows up with logistics partners to resolve delays or documentation issues

Coordinates with finance for duty payments and vendor invoices, and collaborates with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability. They analyze shipping costs, support process improvements, and help optimize import operations while maintaining high standards of accuracy, compliance, and customer service.
