Job Description

Company: Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC)

Position: Financial Advisor / Insurance Agent

Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (Flexible Hours)

Compensation: Commission-based + Performance Incentives

​Job Purpose​To identify potential clients, evaluate their financial goals, and recommend suitable LIC life insurance and investment plans to secure their future.

  • ​Core Responsibilities​Prospect and build a network of potential clients.
  • ​Conduct financial need-analysis and recommend appropriate LIC policies.
  • ​Explain policy features, benefits, and premium structures clearly.
  • ​Assist clients with documentation, policy renewals, and claim settlements.
  • ​Maintain long-term relationships for repeat business and referrals.
  • ​Eligibility Criteria​Age: Minimum 18 years.
  • Education: Minimum 10th or 12th pass (from a recognized board).
  • Skills: Good communication, networking skills, and a self-motivated attitude.
  • Licensing: Must clear the mandatory IRDAI IC38 exam (LIC provides the training).
