Job Description – Manager, Operations & Customer Service
Company: Nature Greens Pvt. Ltd. Brand: Yellolife Location: Road No. 45, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad Position: Manager – Operations & Customer Service Reporting To: Director Experience: Minimum 5 years in a managerial role within the Food & Beverage, Café, Restaurant, Retail, or Hospitality industry.
Role Objective
Yellolife is looking for a highly motivated Manager – Operations & Customer Service to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Experience Centre, Café, Cloud Kitchen, Bakery, and Food Farmacy.
The successful candidate will ensure operational excellence, exceptional customer experiences, efficient team management, and profitable business growth while upholding Yellolife’s premium hospitality and wellness standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
● Take complete operational responsibility for the Experience Centre and all business units.
● Ensure smooth daily operations across the café, cloud kitchen, bakery, retail store, and customer service functions.
● Develop and implement SOPs to improve efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
● Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, maintenance, safety, and hospitality.
Human Resources & Team Leadership
● Manage recruitment, staff scheduling, attendance, performance, and employee engagement.
● Lead, mentor, and motivate cross-functional teams.
● Coordinate staff training in customer service, operations, food safety, and hospitality standards.
● Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Customer Service & Hospitality
● Deliver an exceptional guest experience at every customer touchpoint.
● Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
● Monitor customer feedback and implement service improvements.
● Ensure premium hospitality standards are consistently maintained.
Business Development & Sales
● Develop and grow B2B relationships with corporates, hospitals, schools, fitness centres, wellness clinics, and institutions.
● Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
● Drive sales growth through customer engagement, local marketing initiatives, and community outreach.
● Support achievement of monthly revenue and business growth targets.
Digital Operations
● Manage POS systems and ensure accurate billing and reporting.
● Monitor inventory management systems, stock movement, and procurement coordination.
● Utilize operational dashboards and reports to improve business performance.
● Be proficient in email communication, Microsoft Office, and digital business applications.
Administration & Facility Management
● Oversee maintenance and upkeep of the premises.
● Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory regulations, and safety standards.
● Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and maintenance teams for uninterrupted operations.
Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
● Additional certifications in Hospitality, Operations Management, Retail Management, or Customer Service will be an advantage.
Experience
● Minimum 5 years of experience leading operations in a café, restaurant, cloud kitchen, hospitality, or retail food business.
● Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams and customer-facing operations.
Skills
● Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
● Excellent customer service and hospitality skills.
● Business development and sales orientation.
● Strong operational planning and execution.
● Inventory management and procurement knowledge.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Proficiency in POS systems, inventory software, Microsoft Office, email, and digital reporting tools.
● Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
