Mechanical Engineer

About the RoleHeamac Healthcare is looking for a motivated and hands-on Diploma Mechanical Engineer to support our production, manufacturing, and product development activities for innovative medical devices. The candidate will work closely with the engineering and product development team in assembly, fabrication, tooling, testing, and manufacturing operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesHandle day-to-day production and manufacturing activities.

• Operate and manage mechanical tools, equipment, and fabrication processes.
• Assist in product assembly, testing, prototyping, and development activities.
• Coordinate with vendors for machining, fabrication, and component sourcing.
• Support manufacturing process improvement and documentation.
• Work on mechanical design modifications and basic CAD updates when required.
• Ensure proper maintenance of tools, materials, and workshop equipment.
• Assist the R&D team during prototype development and product iterations.
• Travel locally for vendor visits and production-related work when needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Basic understanding of manufacturing and mechanical systems.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical tools and workshop equipment.
• Telugu communication is mandatory.
• Basic Hindi communication skills required.
• Must possess a valid 2-wheeler driving license.
• 4-wheeler driving knowledge/license is an added advantage.
• Willingness to work in production, field coordination, and product development activities.

Preferred Skills

• Basic understanding of fabrication, sheet metal, machining, or product assembly processes.
• Knowledge of SolidWorks or Fusion 360 is an added advantage.
• Interest in medical device product development and innovation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
