Job Description – 11th & 12th Standard Sanskrit Lecturer / Intermediate Sanskrit Faculty

• Key ResponsibilitiesTeach Sanskrit language and literature to 11th and 12th standard students.
• Prepare lesson plans, study materials, assignments, and question papers.
• Teach:
• 
  
• Sanskrit grammar (Vyakarana)
• Poetry and prose
• Translation and comprehension
• Classical Sanskrit literature
• Help students improve reading, writing, pronunciation, and speaking skills.
• Prepare students for board examinations and competitive exams where Sanskrit is included.
• Conduct regular tests, assessments, and revision sessions.
• Maintain student attendance and academic records.
• Encourage interest in Sanskrit language, culture, and literature.
• Use modern teaching methods, presentations, and digital tools when required.
• Participate in faculty meetings, cultural activities, and school programs.
• Required QualificationsMaster’s Degree in Sanskrit (M.A Sanskrit) — usually preferred.
• B.Ed qualification may be required for schools/junior colleges.
• Strong knowledge of Sanskrit grammar and literature.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• Preferred SkillsClear pronunciation and teaching ability.
• Ability to explain grammar and meanings effectively.
• Student motivation and counseling skills.
• Basic computer and online teaching knowledge.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• ExperienceFreshers and experienced candidates can apply.
• Teaching experience in intermediate or higher secondary level is an advantage.
