Core Responsibilities

1. Dealership Accounts (Showroom Level)

• Sales Reconciliation: Verify daily showroom sales, match vehicle invoices with cash/card receipts, and manage accounts receivable (down payments, EMIs, and full purchases). [1, 2, 3, 4]
• Inventory & Asset Management: Track vehicle delivery notes, monitor stock levels, and handle accounts payable for parts, accessories, and OEM vendor payments. [1, 2]
• Cash & Petty Cash Handling: Manage daily cash flow, maintain petty cash records, and safely deposit collections into the corporate bank account. [1, 2, 3]

2. Finance & Loan Operations (Bank/NBFC Level)

• Loan Disbursal: Process two-wheeler loans, verify customer documents (KYC, income proof, banking statements), and ensure prompt disbursal of funds to the dealership. [1, 2]
• Collections & Delinquency: Monitor overdue and delinquent accounts, coordinate with collection executives, and reconcile EMIs recovered from customers. [1, 2]
• Credit Analysis: Evaluate the financial risk of applicants, check credit scores, and process sanction orders according to organizational policies. [1]

3. Compliance, Payroll, and Reporting

• Statutory Compliance: Ensure tax deductions (TDS), Goods and Services Tax (GST), and other local taxes are filed correctly and on time.
• Payroll Processing: Manage employee salaries, commissions for sales executives, and handle benefits or deductions.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare regular Profit and Loss statements, cash flow statements, and budget forecasts to guide dealership/company leadership. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]

Key Accounting Roles

• Accounts Assistant: Processes invoices, tracks vehicle titles, manages petty cash, and assists with daily data entry.
• Finance/Credit Executive: Focuses on loan products, checks client creditworthiness, and processes sales proposals.
• Accountant/Account Officer: Reconciles ledger accounts, oversees tax compliance, and finalizes periodic financial statements.
