Kokila Homes is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, cash flow tracking, taxation, statutory compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Real Estate, Construction, or similar industries and possess strong knowledge of GST, TDS, audits, and financial management.
Roles & Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping
• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Perform daily account reconciliation and ensure proper tallying of receipts, payments, and bank transactions.
• Record and verify purchase bills, vendor payments, customer receipts, and journal entries.
• Maintain ledgers, cash books, and financial registers in Tally.
Cash Flow Management
• Monitor daily cash inflows and outflows.
• Prepare and maintain cash flow statements and fund utilization reports.
• Coordinate with management regarding financial planning and payment schedules.
• Ensure timely payments to vendors, contractors, consultants, and service providers.
Taxation & Compliance
• Handle GST compliance, including monthly, quarterly, and annual GST filings.
• Prepare and file TDS returns and ensure statutory compliance.
• Maintain GST, TDS, and tax-related records and documentation.
• Coordinate with tax consultants and auditors for compliance requirements.
Audit & Financial Reporting
• Assist in internal and statutory audits.
• Prepare audit schedules and supporting documents.
• Ensure proper maintenance of financial records for audit purposes.
• Generate monthly MIS reports and financial summaries for management review.
Real Estate Accounting
• Track project-wise expenses, receipts, and profitability.
• Monitor customer payment schedules and outstanding receivables.
• Maintain vendor, contractor, and project accounts accurately.
• Support management with project-specific financial reporting and cost tracking.
Required Skills
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in Real Estate, Construction, Infrastructure, or related industries is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, and statutory compliance.
• Hands-on experience with Tally Prime and MS Excel.
• Good understanding of cash flow management and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of audit processes and financial documentation.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Preferred Candidate Profile
• B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
• Experience handling project-based accounting.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple financial tasks.
• Reliable, sincere, and committed professional with a strong sense of accountability.
