Job Summary

Part of the SSI organisation, candidates will lead Accounts and Finance function. This position will report directly to Finance Business Partner, PFT and is responsible for leading all the financial activities of SSI. The Account Manager is responsible for the monthly and quarterly financial accounting, planning, reporting, analysis, controls, and annual statutory reporting for the legal entity. 

Responsibilities

  • Leads the Account & Finance team.
  • Management of the Internal & external audit process. Overseas and maintain appropriate internal controls, including SOX compliance and satisfying requests from internal and external auditors
  • Preparation and Finalization of annual statutory financial statements
  • Lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process and quarterly forecasting. Assures financial plans are consistent with organizational goals
  • Provides interpretation and analysis of financial reports and analysis to local and division management to support decision-making actions
  • Finance business partnering with directors
  • Maintaining Banking relationships and timely executing Banking Transactions including Foreign Trade Transactions
  • Balance sheet management and controls, including reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts
  • Management of ledgers within the accounting system – maintaining records of Indian GAAP & US GAAP
  • Payroll accounting and verification
  • Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, corporate finance policies and procedures, statutory requirements, and internal controls processes.
  • Supports special projects on as needed basis

Basic Qualifications

  • C.A./ICWA  (2 or3 Yrs of Experience) or Intermediate C.A./ICWA (4 Yrs of Experience)
  • B.Com

Key Competencies

  • Strong business acumen and broad understanding of financial statements and accounting principles; management accounting/reporting experience preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Excel/spreadsheet, Hyperion (preferred), presentations (PPT)
  • ERP Knowledge: Tally (Advance Knowledge and experience is preferred)/working knowledge of either SAP/Oracle
  • Experienced in handling Export/Import Banking Transactions.
  • Effective and persuasive presentation skills on controversial or complex topics to leadership
  • Ability to work independently and perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent in English & basic knowledge for Hindi & Telugu (Preferred).
