Accounts Manager - GST & Compliance

Role summary  

Own client accounts + day-to-day accounting, with full responsibility for GST compliance, returns, and reconciliations. You’ll be the go-to for both client billing + tax filings.

Key responsibilities:

- Accounts & Billing: Manage AR/AP, invoicing, collections, payment follow-ups, and vendor reconciliations

- GST Compliance: File GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9 monthly/quarterly/annual. Handle e-invoicing + e-way bills

- Reconciliation: Match books with GSTR-2B, handle ITC claims, and resolve mismatches with clients/vendors  

- Reporting: Monthly P&L, cash flow, aging reports, and GST liability summaries for management

- Audit support: Assist during internal/external audits + respond to GST notices if any

- Client coordination: Act as SPOC for account queries, contract renewals, and upsell opportunities

Must-have skills:

1./B.Com/M.Com with 3-5 years accounts experience 

2. Hands-on knowledge of GST portal, e-invoicing, and Tally/Zoho Books/QuickBooks 

3. Strong Excel + reconciliation skills

4. Up to date on GST rules, notices, and compliance changes

Good to have: CA experience with ERP like SAP/Tally Prime, knowledge of TDS/TCS
