As part of our global Cloud Enablement team you will work on various components as a Software Engineer. Your role includes specification, development, testing and releasing of new features. The team owns the platforms throughout the lifecycle. You are expected to contribute to the vision, understand our customers’ needs, business goals, product roadmap and contribute to building an engineering culture within the team. We expect the successful candidate to deliver high quality software and to be passionate about software engineering. You must have a proficient understanding of software development, security and the mechanisms to design safe, resilient and highly-available cloud native services.

Asset & Wealth Management Division

Across Asset and Wealth Management (AWM), Goldman Sachs helps empower clients and customers around the world reach their financial goals.

The Private Wealth management (PWM) business within Asset & Wealth Management division provides comprehensive Investment Management services and advice across a full range of asset classes for very high net worth individuals. PWM leverages a global technology platform offering, an integrated suite of tools, and applications to service clients. This platform helps realize a client's goals and objectives, develops, and implements an integrated wealth management plan and delivers first-class client service.

Private Wealth Management

The Private Wealth Management (PWM) business provides end to end Investment Management services and advice across a broad range of asset classes for high-net-worth individuals. PWM leverages a global technology platform offering, an integrated suite of tools, and applications to onboard clients. Our software helps realize a client's goals and objectives, develops, and implements an integrated wealth management plan and delivers first-class client service. The successful candidate will join the global PWM Private Bank team. We are developing digital solutions to help clients connect and engage with Goldman Sachs. We work closely with our business partners to streamline business workflows and drive growth.

 How You Will Fulfill Your Potential

In Wealth Management, we help our clients pursue their wealth management goals through careful advice & astute investment management. Wealth Management Engineering plays a pivotal role in building the tools and applications our business needs to effectively manage and support our client’s diverse requirements. We support the entire user experience starting with onboarding through to maintenance, transfers, reporting, as well as providing clients access to their portfolios online. As part of the Private Banking platforms, being built on AWS Cloud, we're looking for strong engineers with expertise in AWS and CFT OR a strong willingness to upskill and learn cloud technologies.

 Skills & Experience We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in backend development using Java and related frameworks (e.g. Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.)
• Understanding of AWS services and cloud architecture (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, etc.).
• Proficiency in RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and database systems (SQL/NoSQL).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a global team.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Work with advanced AI technologies to enhance coding efficiency.
• Design, implement, and deploy scalable agentic AI workflows to drive commercial outcomes
