Job Title: Associate II - CMD 

Experience:  3- 5 Years

Location: Hyderabad, Work from Office

Working Hours: 5.00 PM to 2.00 AM (Transportation Provided)

 

The Opportunity: 

Clean Harbors is looking for a Customer Master Data Associate working in the Master Data team. In this role, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient management of CMD supporting all Clean Harbors businesses. This individual will independently manage daily requests related to validation, creation of customer records, and data cleansing, including interaction with customers/stakeholders.

The Customer Master Data Specialist will setup and maintain consistency & accuracy of customer master data in existing systems.

  • Create, edit, and maintain customer master data as per SOPs and data standards
  • Perform data entry, validation, maintenance, and cleanup across Salesforce, ERP(s), CRM, and other systems
  • Manage account lifecycle activities such as activation, deactivation, updates, and change requests
  • Handle channel conflict resolution and support other master data–related activities
  • Collaborate with functional data owners, SMEs, and data stewards to define data standards, governance rules, and policies
  • Support implementation and enhancement of data governance frameworks, naming conventions, and enterprise data standards
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, security, and reliability across systems
  • Develop and maintain process documentation including SOPs, work instructions, and process narratives
  • Perform analysis and resolve lower-complexity issues related to data and processes
  • Work closely with internal teams at Clean Harbors, with limited client/management interaction
  • Follow defined instructions for daily tasks and adapt to new assignments with detailed guidance
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and ensure timely completion
  • Work as an individual contributor within a team environment
  • Understand that decisions impact on their own work and may influence team outcomes
  • Flexible working in rotational shifts as required
  • Business-related bachelor’s degree 
  • Relevant experience in Data Management & Data Governance with knowledge about data domains such as Customer Master Data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to present to senior leadership 
  • MS office proficiency (Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint) Ability to work independently as well as within a team
  • Ideal candidates should have progressively handled increasing levels of responsibility. 
  • Must be a team player and should have a proven ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment through active collaboration with key business and technical stakeholders.
