• Configure and manage credit-card approval rules in the Business Rule Engine.
• Translate credit policies, underwriting guidelines, and risk strategies into automated decision rules.
• Work with Risk, Product, Operations, and IT teams to implement decisioning logic.
• Analyze approval, decline, fraud, and portfolio performance trends.
• Perform rule testing, UAT, deployment, and post-production monitoring.
• Optimize straight-through processing (STP) and customer onboarding journeys.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policy requirements.
• Prepare MIS reports and conduct impact analysis for policy changes.

Required Skills

• Credit card/lending domain knowledge.
• Business Rule Engines such as FICO Blaze, Experian PowerCurve, Sentinel, IBM ODM, Drools, etc.
• SQL (mandatory in most roles).
• Understanding of credit bureau data, scorecards, underwriting, and risk policies.
• Data analysis and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of APIs, testing, and system integrations is often preferred.

Typical Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Statistics, or related field).
• 2–8 years of experience in banking, NBFC, fintech, credit cards, or lending operations.
