A Restaurant Cashier is responsible for handling customer payments accurately and providing excellent customer service. Key responsibilities include:
- Greeting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Processing cash, card, and digital payments accurately.
- Generating bills and issuing receipts.
- Maintaining the cash register and balancing cash at the end of the shift.
- Assisting customers with inquiries and resolving payment-related issues.
- Coordinating with kitchen and service staff to ensure accurate order billing.
- Keeping the cashier counter clean and organized.
- Following company policies and maintaining confidentiality of financial transactions.
