Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with expertise in emerging technologies such as cloud, IoT, blockchain, and mobile platforms. This role involves developing innovative solutions, integrating new technologies into enterprise environments, and contributing to ongoing digital transformation initiatives. The candidate will work collaboratively across teams to design, implement, and optimize scalable, secure, and high-performance systems supporting business growth and operational excellence.

Software Requirements

• Required:

  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages, including Java, Python, or Node.js, with experience in building scalable, secure applications

  • Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (supporting deployment and cloud-native architectures)

  • Experience with IoT platforms, blockchain integrations, or mobile development environments (Android/iOS)

  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and related tools (Git, Jira, Confluence)

  • Knowledge of API development (REST, GraphQL) and system integration best practices

• Preferred:

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)

  • Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)

  • Knowledge of security standards, data privacy, and compliance frameworks related to emerging tech

Overall Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy innovative applications leveraging cloud, IoT, blockchain, and mobile technologies

• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to incorporate emerging solutions supporting business requirements

• Develop scalable APIs, microservices, and automation frameworks to enhance operational efficiency

• Support infrastructure setup, deployment pipelines, and continuous integration processes for new technology platforms

• Troubleshoot and resolve performance, security, or integration issues proactively

• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technology standards, recommending improvements and innovative approaches

• Ensure technical solutions follow best practices, security policies, and compliance standards

• Document system architecture, design decisions, and operational procedures for future reference and audits

• Programming Languages:
  Required: Java, Python, or Node.js for application development and automation tasks
  Preferred: Additional scripting languages or domain-specific languages for integrations and support

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of software engineering experience supporting enterprise applications with a focus on emerging technologies

• Proven track record in cloud deployments, integrating IoT, blockchain, and mobile platforms

• Experience delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions in enterprise or regulated environments

• Demonstrated ability to design innovative technical solutions supporting digital transformation

• Industry experience in finance, manufacturing, healthcare, or technology sectors preferred

Day-to-Day Activities

• Develop scalable cloud applications, IoT solutions, or blockchain integrations supporting enterprise goals

• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and operations teams to gather requirements and design new solutions

• Support automation efforts through scripting, IaC, and deployment pipelines

• Troubleshoot technical issues, optimize system performance, and implement security controls

• Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and documentation updates to ensure quality and compliance

• Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and evaluate new tools and technologies for inclusion in the platform

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• 8+ years supporting or developing enterprise applications integrated with cloud, IoT, or blockchain platforms

• Certifications in cloud platforms, security, or emerging technologies are advantageous

• Proven success in delivering scalable, secure, and innovative solutions supporting business transformation
