Computer Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Teach Computer Science / Computer Applications to students as per the ICSE curriculum guidelines.
• Prepare detailed lesson plans, practical exercises, and study materials.
• Conduct theory and practical classes in the computer lab.
• Teach programming languages (such as Java / Python as per ICSE syllabus), basics of algorithms, and computer fundamentals.
• Conduct regular class tests, practical exams, and assessments.
• Evaluate answer sheets and practical work, and provide constructive feedback to students.
• Prepare students for ICSE board examinations conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations.
• Maintain lab discipline and ensure proper usage of computer systems.
• Maintain student attendance and academic records.
• Support students in projects, assignments, and internal assessments.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress.

Specific Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science / IT / Computer Applications.
• B.Ed. qualification preferred.
• Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience (ICSE experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of programming languages (Java/Python), database concepts, and computer fundamentals as per grade level.
• Good communication and classroom/lab management skills.
• Ability to handle practical lab sessions efficiently.
• Familiarity with digital tools and smart classroom technology.
• Passionate about teaching and mentoring students.
