Job Description

Credit Manager-Vishwas-Credit

The Credit Manager will play a vital role in driving the success of the Vishwas-Credit department. They will be responsible for overseeing credit operations, implementing strategies, and ensuring compliance with regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and guide a team of credit professionals.
  • Lead and manage the credit team, providing strategic direction and guidance.
  • Develop and implement credit policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with bank standards and regulations.
  • Oversee the credit approval process, ensuring timely and accurate decisions.
  • Monitor and analyze credit risk, identifying potential issues and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and internal teams.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to the credit team members.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in credit management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of credit processes.
  • Mentor and develop junior credit professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • A bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in credit management, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in credit risk assessment and management techniques.
  • Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for credit management.
  • A proactive and innovative approach to credit strategies and processes.
