BigBasket delivery boys (delivery partners) are responsible for picking up groceries from local hubs and delivering them safely to customers in a timely manner. They are expected to use an Android phone for navigation and managing orders. The role offers flexible, full-time or part-time, and 6-day work weeks, with potential earnings ranging from ₹10,000 to over ₹40,000 per month.Key ResponsibilitiesOrder Delivery: Pick up items from the BigBasket HUB and deliver to customers accurately, safely, and on time.Customer Service: Act as the face of the company, providing friendly and professional service to customers during transactions.Navigation & Technology: Use an Android smartphone and GPS to locate the fastest routes and manage delivery apps for real-time updates.Order Handling: Verify product accuracy, check for damaged items at the warehouse, and manage payment transactions.Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the delivery vehicle (2-wheeler/scooty) to ensure it is in good working condition.RequirementsMandatory: A two-wheeler (bike/scooty) with a valid driving license and RC.Technology: An Android smartphone with a good internet connection.Qualification: Generally open to individuals with 10th-12th pass qualifications or even lower.Skills: Good communication, local area knowledge, and time management.Salary and BenefitsSalary: Fixed salary + incentives, with potential to earn up to ₹40,000–₹50,000 per month depending on location and performance.Insurance: Medical insurance of up to ₹1 Lakh, with additional insurance options up to ₹5 Lakh (GAP & GTL).Flexible Shifts: Flexible, part-time, and full-time options available.
